Make sure you select the entire row by selecting the row number.
Insert Row Shortcut in Excel for Multiple Rows
To insert multiple rows in excel quickly do this!
Select multiple rows then use CTRL SHIFT + shortcut to insert row.
This will add multiple rows. If you select 3 rows and use this shortcut, excel will insert 3 new rows. The more rows you select the more rows excel insert.
ATL+I+R Excel Shortcut to Insert Row
There is 1 more excel shortcut to insert row quickly which you can use.
Select the row and use ALT+I+R as the shortcut to insert row.
Do note that this shortcut might not work in some Excel versions.
Insert Row in Excel Shortcut to Open Insert Dialog Box
You can also insert row in excel by using the Insert Dialog Box, the shortcut for the same is as follows:
Select the cell where you want to insert a new row and use CTRL SHIFT +
The only difference is in selection. Instead of selecting the entire row, we have selected a single cell. The shortcut will open up the Insert Dialog Box, you can choose what to do- insert row, insert column and shift cells up or down.
